12th Floor Film is an investment fund that focuses on production and distribution of independent films through an innovative and focused strategy that mitigates the risks associated with the film industry. The Fund’s strategy to mitigate risk is to procure distribution agreements through established relationships as a condition to the Fund’s commitment of capital for film production.

This strategy is intended to:

• protect downside risk by establishing distribution agreements before commitment of capital, and
• preserve upside returns by sharing distribution expenses in order to control distribution costs and improve the potential for net profits, or
• capture investor return and reduce risk by selling distribution rights for guaranteed payments from distributors.

The Fund is managed by a seasoned and diversified group of film and investment professionals including Temple Fennell, Johnathan Dorfman and James Wheat. 12th Floor Film Fund is closely affiliated with ATO Pictures as part of the several companies associated with the Dave Matthews organization.
